Rearrange PDF Pages
Reorder PDF pages by entering the desired sequence. Check the resulting document before downloading or sharing.
Enter each desired page number once, in output order. Omitted pages are not copied. Blank or duplicate selections are rejected.
What this tool does
Organize a PDF by writing the page sequence you need. This page uses a text-based order field rather than draggable page thumbnails. It can help put a cover sheet first or move an appendix after the main report.
How to use it
- Choose one PDF and note its page count.
- Enter the desired source-page order, for example 3,1,2 for a three-page document. Include every page that should remain.
- Select Process and download pages.pdf.
- Open the output and check its sequence, page count and required page features.
Reordering and omitted pages
For a three-page source, 3,1,2 places original page 3 first. This engine preserves the entered order but rejects repeated page numbers. Pages omitted from the sequence are absent from the output. A blank sequence is rejected, so enter every page you want to retain.
Choose the tool for the intended outcome
Use this organizer for a new sequence. Use Remove PDF Pages when you want to specify pages to delete, Split PDF for multiple outputs, and Rotate PDF for page orientation. Rearranging does not rotate a page or edit its contents.
Limits and result checks
Input is limited to 25 MB and 200 source pages. Use valid one-based page numbers. Page-copy operations are not a guarantee of preserving document-level signatures, bookmarks or form behavior; inspect the result.
Common questions
Can I drag PDF page thumbnails into a new order?
No. This interface uses a typed page-order sequence, such as 3,1,2.
Can I include the same page twice?
No. Duplicate page numbers are rejected by this engine. Enter each source page at most once.
What happens to pages missing from my sequence?
They are not copied into the organized PDF. Include every page you want to retain.
How do I rotate a page instead?
Use the separate Rotate PDF tool. Changing sequence does not change page rotation.
