Convert Images to PDF
Create a PDF with one page per image. Choose page size, orientation and margins.
Creates one page per image in selection order. SVG is rasterized; PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF first-frame and BMP decoding depend on the browser.
What this tool does
Convert JPG, PNG and other supported images to a PDF for sharing photo receipts, charts or document pictures. Each selected image becomes one PDF page in selection order. This creates a document from pictures; it does not recognize text in a scanned image.
How to use it
- Select one or more images and check their displayed selection order.
- Choose image, a4 or letter for Page size. Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches; A4 is approximately 8.27 × 11.69 inches.
- Select portrait or landscape and set Margin in points. There are 72 points per inch; 18 points is a quarter-inch margin.
- Select Process, download images.pdf and check image order, page dimensions and legibility.
Choosing a page layout
Image page size uses the decoded image dimensions as page dimensions. A4 and Letter fit each picture within the selected page and margin while preserving its aspect ratio. A landscape choice swaps tall page dimensions. If margins are larger than an image-sized page, lower the margin or choose a paper size.
Supported images and scan limits
The file picker accepts PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, SVG and BMP. Decoding depends on the browser. GIF uses its first frame and SVG is rasterized. A photo of text remains a picture in the PDF; no OCR is added. For a mixed document of PDFs and images, use the mixed-format merger.
Limits and result checks
Inputs are limited to 25 MB per file and 100 MB total. Image decoding has a 16-megapixel limit. Preserve the originals and verify every page after download; avoid confidential test files when comparing outputs.
Common questions
Can I combine several photos into one PDF?
Yes. Choose multiple images; the output creates one page for each selected image in selection order.
Which page size should I use for US printing?
Letter corresponds to 8.5 × 11 inches. Check the printer settings and downloaded page size before printing; the default remains A4.
Does an animated GIF become several pages?
No. This workflow uses the first decoded GIF frame rather than converting the animation to multiple PDF pages.
Will text in a photo become selectable?
No. This tool places image content on PDF pages and does not perform OCR.
